I'm putting the development of Major Brasil (Developed in response to SUPER HEROES !!!11!ONE!1!! ) in my own sub-forum: I just had to do it... This is a recolor of a USA Agent from Jared M. Jones (Ronnie Thunderbolts): www.medinnus.com/rt_art/Attachments:

It would be hard to buy a physical product for me. Postage alone colud be on the order of 5$-10$, and if this gets classified as game (books are tax-free) by customs, I would pay 60% over the price+shipping.
But if that was sold (and posted from) here in Brazil I would pay 5$ a sheet.

About the camera, most miniature photography must be made in "macro" mode. Almost all digital cameras (but not cell phone cameras) have a macro setting, the icon for this is a little flower.
Other tips that I learned: Flash makes bad reflections on paper, use a diffuse light, like a normal (milky not transparent) incandescent light bulb. A tripod eliminates blurred photos caused by unsteady hands, for miniature photos you can us a very small and cheap one.

My Undead T-Rex Skeleton already has an all-new original fossil texture. The Single Figure category is taken!

I already said that before, between FDG's Rio Draco, GhostGirl, and Smokewagon Outlaws, you are forcing me to play a old west RPG campaign.
Or I cold drop them in a Firefly game and use my spaceships, works for me! ;-)

You can mirror the wheels on the reverse side of the chariot. That way the wheel'll have both sides and the spokes may be cut.

Jim made a Amazon Army with a chariot. I have the figures but don know where to find them. Maybe in one of the MMIPs?

My T-Rex is an original figure, but colored and textured by Jim. Can I submit it or I must make my own colors/texture before?
(not that i expect my pile of bones to win, but I have to participate in this somehow!)

Just small corrections: I removed the white aliasing from the figure border, widened the back border, and put a less caucasian tone of skin in the Major. A Steve-Rogers-Look-Alike wouldn't fit as a representative of Brazil. Hey, I think he can feature in the WWII HOARD! Brazil was there too! Maybe I'll make a "war version" of him with a Smoking Snake somewhere... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_Expeditionary_Force#NicknameAttachments:

That Aquanaut is AMAZING! Shame that I'm playing UFO Defense and not Terror From the Deep, but I will save him for a rainy day! I managed some sectoids with Scarecrow's SG1 Precursors, mixed with game sprites. I think they are a better fit for the game sectoids than Jim's. Jim's precursors have too much bling and X-Com sectoids go around in the nude: (Added to the Forum Compilation #3 - www.onemonk.com/guest-dl.html )

I have an itch to scratch. I need to play with my X-Com adaptation ( tiagohackbarth.com/gurps-x-com) with paper minis. Terra Force is a perfect Fit for the X-Com Operatives, Gostofman has a Skyranger and a downed UFO, all that I need is that damned hostile extraterrestrials!

As I was working on the Maiden of the High Seas, my daugther (4) came, looked at the ship, looked at her playmobils, and asked: - Is this the boat of the Indian? - No, this is the boat of the Pirate. - Where is the boat of the Indian? ...
Now I now...

In one of my GURPS Supers campaigns, one of my friends played a Major Brasil! Maybe I should make a paper mini of him too.

Could a moderator be kind enough to transfer this thread to the proper place?

I found a method that perfectly erases all color of the figure:
Open the figure in GIMP. Go to Layer>Transparency>Color to Alpha Change the color to be erased to FF0000 (red) Repeat for 00FF00 (green), 0000FF (blue), FFFF00 (yellow), FF00FF (Magenta) and 00FFFF (Cyan)
Now ALL color of the figure became transparent, but the lines remain untouched. It is much more faithful to the original lines than the previous methods. All you have to do is create a new white layer below the original layer and put colors in this new layer. Like painting an old-style animation cell.

The curupira design is good, very clean lines, it only needs to be a little less static.
Try flexing his knees a little and put the right hand a little more forward, to inject a little action in the pose. Maybe try a more mischievous expression.
