They look very good, an army awaiting to be printed and mounted! A good more down to earth army to balance the more fantastic elements that we usually have here.
Color me very interested!
Backs would be good, but I don't see them as essential on side looking minis. If you are up to it, them by all means draw them, they certainly add value to the minis.
More variety in the faces and hair would be nice. But as they are right now I would get them in an instant!

Can I vote for the werewolfs too? I love them, and there is a shortage of werewolfs in paper minis...

I'll recommend these minis in the SJGames forums. In Nomine doesn't need miniatures per se, but they'll be welcome.
You could put wings in the angelic version and leave them off on the incognito version.

This set is now at 5 unique models (I've done a tech girl and a marine type) front and back all done, just need one round of adjustments and 1 more colour pass to finish.. Possibly this week. So they'll get in this month HOARD? Happyness!

Space suited crew, and a set with more varied space suit designs also. Some NASA-like, others more Soviet-like, some improvised os scavaged, and some more futuristic (Less bulky, more neon lights, maybe a organic one).

Aren't you missing a female necromancer with a staff of skulls?

I can see possibilities for using this guy in many roleplaying settings...
I'm a little worried about its construction, the members are a little on the thin side. Maybe being a bit more generous with the black border the mini can handle being manipulated well enough for gaming purposes.
On the other hand it has a very distinctive silhouette.

Perfect crew for my gaming group! Only need a feminine touch, maybe a female ship doctor? ;-)

Alignment shouldn't be a problem, the main issue is them catching fire like you mention. We can set play around with the speed and power settings to cut these really fast, so I'm sure I can get them to work. I'll be posting my results. JIM Does the laser-cut borders of the figures dispense the "edging with a black marker" step of miniature assembly?

Without sounding too rude - Jorden doesn't do backs! I have asked him a number of times but that has yet to happen. I see what you mean. The figures HAVE front and back views. But they don't align! Good for A-frame stand-ups, But not good enough for true paper miniatures!

Welcome!
It seems you where lurking in this forum for a bit, your figure shows some of the best characteristics of the "one monk school of miniature-fu": Traditional miniature proportions, front and back views, simple but distinctive silhouette to facilitate cutting and to improve recognition on the table, thicker black outline in the back view to facilitate alignment and edging...
Good design, I too use Inkscape, but my skill isn't so good as what you just demonstrated. And the theme is one of my favorites! I'll resize and print these for sure. You sure started with a bang!

Jordan Greywolf made sets of anthropomorphic miniatures, in fantasy and oriental settings, for the Ironclaw and Jadeclaw RPGs. They are PB lineart in True Type Font format. Lowercase for the front and Uppercase for the back. greywolf.critter.net/fonts.htmIts a shame he didn't made some sci-fi for Albedo RPG...

Psst, Jim, fix this in your homepage:
"This is a great preview set, and shows Jabbro’s skill at creating cool modern horror models."

Step One: Grab a sprite from an old arcade game. From "The King of Dragons", I got a generic elf archer. Then I open it with Inkscape and use the "Trace bitmap" tool, this transforms the elf from a crude and aliased bitmap in a well rounded design with smooth curves. The settings used where Multiple scans, by colors, 12 scans. Next, to trace the figure.

New project: Using video game sprites to create paper minis!
Video Game sprites are easily found in the Internet, in a multitude of themes, some have the same front/back views and perspective that we use for paper minis. Maybe they can be adapted to instant paper minis.

I think the warrior could use a bigger sword, that one looks so small in his hand...

I don't think anybody else uses my method: I print the figures on standard A4 paper 75g/m2. The difference is how I glue the figures.
Instead of using white glue, I use two-sided tape to join the two sides of the pieces. The paper-tape-paper sandwich is as strong as cardboard, doesn't warp and glues instantly.
I figure this method may be improved using matte photo paper, but until I get a better place to stock my miniatures and my kids grow to the the point that they don't bite them, cheap is the way to go.

Hackbarth, why not refer your friends here and get them to join the forum, you never know they might be persuaded to get Jims stuff too! They don't know enough English and feel intimidated joining a forum to get free stuff. I recommended the One-monk site tough. And will show One-monk freebies and Bhoritz stuff to them on game night tonight.

Just fantastic mind blowing stuff!!! I may just doubled the amount of buildings to print and mount now. Where I'll put these?
Put the links to these in your webpage (nice webpage btw.) so that I can refer them to my friends and share the load of making so many props...

Of course, the copyright! The license is this: This work by Tiago Hackbarth is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 2.5 Brazil License. I think that is entirely agreeable with the HOARD terms. If you ask for a more permissive license I can make it so. The only thing that I wanted to do and is missing is a thicker outline to facilitate cutting the figure. But I couldn't fathom how to do that under Inkscape.

Harry Dresden? I don't know of it. I'm making this to play the adventures that came in the Dungeoneer: Advanced Fighting Fantasy book. Here in Brazil the solo adventure books where a craze, and the system is well know. But if you think of it, using a tyrannosaurus skeleton is just too cool to any mad wizard bent on conquering the world with an undead army to let pass. Anyway, the design is ready, all that is needed now is to color it, something that I don't trust myself doing, and arranging it to be printed (mirroring, arranging and putting a base on it.). This I think I'll still do, but don't know if are required to put the work in the hoard. The SVG file is the same as in my initial post, it now looks like this: Edit: I finished the mirroring and arranging, but my inkscape wouldn't export the final work to PDF. The SVG is here: thackbarth.googlepages.com/trextabbed.svg

Greetings to all! I'm beginning in this hobby, since I moved I didn't find a new roleplaying group. So I decided to prepare some new roleplaying material as my hobby until I got a new group. And since I found the material fron Gwindel, MMiP showcase, shadowwolf, Oversoul games, the Paper_Figures group and One-monk, I coudn't stop. Some things that I wanted I couldn't find, and being an Open source programmer, for me the answer is "Do it yourself and give back". So I'm making this: WIP: thackbarth.googlepages.com/trex.svgIt's vetorial, but firefox opens SVG files without a problem. If there's a problem I can post a PDF.
