I use GIMP. I put fornt and back in two different layers and flip vertically the back layer. Then simply align the two sides and use the tranparency of the layer to adjust alignment.

Looking good! I'm thinking in easy ways to recolor figures in GIMP also. Good tips there!
For criticism: The heads at 3/4 seems almost comically large. I think they could be reduced a little in the horizontal axis... The hands seems too small too...

Welcome back!
The paper spaceship interior looks really nice. I'm in the middle of building a Firstlight based space station, and something like this will be a good fit for what I already have.
Since you aren't interested in the space ship crew anymore, could you release the original files for coloring/moding?

They shouldn't.
They are the old homepage of the Wizkids MageKnight Resources, the 3d props and the 2d props (kinda like tiles).

An A4 sheet is 2480 x 3500 pixels at 300 dpi.
A 30mm scale figure is 350 pixels from feet to the eyes.

blackronin, since you are new, let me point you to the Fat Dragon Games site: fatdragongames.com/They make exactly the kind of terrain that you described, and Fat Dragon Tom is a frequent visitor of this forum. Edit: More to the point, see Dragonshire Deluxe: fatdragongames.com/fdg0072.html

Thats wonderful! I'm still waiting some years to begin RPlaying with my daughters, that gives me some time to build a sizable collection of minis.
Since I pay for sheet, and we use the A4 format here, I always arrange the figures to have the most printed per page possible. GIMP is sort of a pain to master, but this kind of task is really easy. Once you have a time learn to do some cut and paste on it. In the meantime, there's always someone helpful around here so never be afraid to ask!

Finally! May I ask, have you forgotten the female Dark Elf in the recolors competition HOARD?

It is a guilty pleasure, sitting in front of the computer just amazing yourself. Then hours later you didn't finish a simple task you had to do in the computer... Too guilty of the same thing here. (and sorry, for the Brazilian portion of the traffic, I just now gave a full article on where to find minis: www.roleplayer.com.br/site/2010/04/onde-encontrar-minis-de-papel/ with your new price in BIG LETTERS)

Front and 3/4 view isn't helping much in these figures. In human faces it gives perpective, but in these it murks the details of the face that make the characters foxes.
The mounted side views are good, maybe more varied side faced or almost side faced faces, just enough for the muzzle to be well recognized, would be better in these foxes.
More furry figures! Yai!

Okumarts, these are already some of my favorite sets!
Some thoughts: In the Romulan sheet, I felt the black border a little on the thin side. I think the one in the Romulan holding his hemet is the right fit. Some figures, specially the sneaking Romulan lady (got to love the expression on her face!) are very difficult to cut.
Can you make a set in the uniforms of the Enterprise NX-01 era? I want to make a campaign starring a sister ship of NX-01, your figures would be perfect for that!

For SF, I recomend the d6 system. It has much less crunch that GURPS, my personal preference. It is now a open system and has a quick start rules manual that seems pretty easy to get around with it.
You will need to find the boks on 4shared or other sharing sites. If you feel up to the full rules, d6 space is a beautiful book and seems the right fit for the job.

Yu-Gyo? I was thinking more like Gorillaz and Daft-Punk's Interstella 555.

These are amazing! I was puzzled for some time as how to make assembly of terrain more easy. I bought Firstlight from WWG and, although the terrain is beautiful, it takes many hours for a simple ship to be completed.
With this I can dream of produce new terrain in time for a adventure. I'll print a 30mm version as soon as it is posted.
(nice recolors of spacejackers minis BTW. A shame he never finished them...)

Just printed three sets of IKUBEs, little high tech shantytowns are always good to have ready for a rainy gaming day!
Super easy. I found that I prefer a little two sided tape instead of the small latch, but the option of not needing any glue is good to have.
Please do share the IKUBE-styled ISO Container. That would make a port or other industrial area super simple to make!

These are actually pretty old, but you can't argue with the price... Yes they are, but I decided to share my old links (the ones that still work). People are always entering the hobby, so it's good to have a little jumpstart to the newbies handy.

Even in paper, good female adventurers are well outnumbered. And a group of good looking women of action is always welcome.
If you didn't used any drawing software, try tracing the figures in Inkscape, and them color and texture it in the Gimp.
Inkscape is a vector graphics software, it means that once you draw something with it, you can zoom out to any size and the figure will not become pixelated. Save the figures in SVG format.
Then open the figures in Gimp at 300dpi. Gimp is a free photoshop clone. You can use it to apply layers of colour, texture and corrections, and then save the completed figure as a bitmap image, in JPG or PNG format (PNG is prefered).
There are some tutorials in using similar softwares in this forum. I suggest Inkscape and Gimp beacuse they are free, well supported and utilized, and I use them.
