If you're trying to figure out out how much to enlarge or reduce a model to fit a particular scale take a look here; WSAM calculatorScale calculatorAnd while you're over at Fiddler's Green consider buying a model or two, lots of neat stuff over there.

Squirmydad, if you have access to the backend settings, you should be able to re-create a "New" button by doing the following. 1) Go to Forum Settings. 2) Click the Navigation Tab. 3) Click the Add Custom button at the bottom. 4) Enter the name as "New" and the URL as cardboard-warriors.proboards.com/threads/recentWinner! I had to change the look of the admin panel (4 different versions of it) to find those buttons and then it was easy. Thanks.

It's at the bottom of the home page; I'll try to duplicate it at the top, not sure how that works yet though.

wait what's wrong with Politically religious naked minis holding guns? those are my favorite kind. I see another mini in your future. Thanks for the kind words folks, however, I've never seen a "Donate" button that was either popular or effective. Ask me about the last days of Paperworlds.com sometime. I do promise to spend any donation money you do send me on beer. I promise to drink it all away and not spend one cent on forum maintenance.

Hmm, not sure where the spellcheck function is, I'll go look for it. I find the site has trouble loading for me at times, not sure why, could just be teething. I'm going to create a basic forum account to go around and try to break things as a new user, it may be that my admin status is preventing me from seeing some of the difficulties that you lot are encountering.

Attachments are back on line due to a generous donation of funds from Mayhem in Paper. Okay, I only bought the Copper (500MB) plan, so it's a bit of a band-aid as we are at 444MB in used storage space right now. I'll be managing attachments for a while to convert huge photo attachments into smaller photo links to help conserve storage space for actual downloadable items. Wyvern: I'll try to see why your forum experience is poor but I'm not seeing any of those issues either in my Firefox or my Chrome browsers. What browser are you using?

So mauve won out over chartreuse? I vote that you change it weekly, just to keep us on our toes. I couldn't remember what the old color was, I'm color blind, I thought this was blue. If you give me a hex number I can use that to change it.

Okay, it should look cheerier now, hit refresh if it doesn't. Now taking requests for colors. BBcode in signatures enabled, Quick Reply box enabled, added a plugin for "Add image to post", which seems to work better than the default "Insert image" button. I'll tackle attachments tomorrow. They haven't gone anywhere, they're just disabled. That'll be fixed tomorrow.

One broken image, a large image, and a small image. Your vision seems fine, feel free to pick out some new frames while you're here. I was trying different image connection techniques; the one that works better is the plugin in the upper left that says "Add image to post" We have more smilies options now, so it'd be great if somebody went on a custom smiley making spree to replace the generics with skully versions.

I see now that the "Releases" boards are gone, now, too. I guess that isn't a big deal, because as my pal Mesper, pointed out, I was posting my new releases in the Industry News and announcements AND the Grey Matter Games releases section... that is not only redundant, but it duplicates itself and is just the same thing over and over... They're not really gone, they've become "sub-boards". Click on the kiladecus's PROJECTS board and look above it. You should see this;

I had to do the same stuff to my form when it was converted so if you need help editing photos or what have you let me know I'm pretty good at it now LOL Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm having trouble posting images....the old version " [/img]" still works for the older image insertions, trying to insert an image now opens a little dialogue, and then my images aren't showing up. I'll keep poking at it today. My recommendation for the future is that members upload files and images to an off-site service (Flickr, Dropbox, Photostream) and link back to them in a post. That should help a bit with exceeding the attachment limit.

All of the attachments are still here, they're just disconnected due to there being too many of them. The header pic with the kobold encounter is still here, it just won't let me connect it for some reason. I need to read through the themes section.
So far nothing lost, just shoved in a drawer out of sight.

Hi gang, I just popped in and thought I was at the wrong house....Proboards had a notice for all to see at the top of the Boards that things were changing. I had no idea how much it was going to change. I read through this thread and opened my Admin panel, I have more powers that are easier to use in this version of the Board, and tweaked a few things so there should be less clutter on the front page.
I checked on the Attachments problem; it seems that under the new version we only have the Copper (free) package which only allows 200MB of attachments, currently the Forum has 447MB of attachments. The next step up costs $36/year but only allows 500MB of attachments. I'm thinking of going through and editing the size of some of the pics that are attached to the forum and see if that helps at all. And/or create a public dropbox site as a gallery that people can dump photos into and then link back here...or something.
However, although I am an Admin, I'm not the owner. More of an occasional housekeeper with privileges. I'll see what I can do though.

Gluesticks for figures and big flat surfaces, Aleene's tacky glue for everything else. Strong, sets up quick, low paper warpage factor. I always found Elmer's to be too watery and I can't use spray glue in the house.
Never thought f using wood glue or polyurethane glue, they seem like overkill choices, but I've got lots of both so I'll have to try them sometime.

Good colors, reminds me of a figure who would be at home in a Greek pantheon setting. When you wrote cloak my first thought was of something less elegant than your final figure; I was thinking of something like ragged strips that used to be a cloak but has been whipped and shredded by storm winds. Perhaps it would be a more appropriate look for a "Storm Sprite" figure.
