Ah, War of the Rats. Have you read "Enemy at the Gates"? Memoirs from WW2 Stalingrad, there are some good sniper stories in there. There is also WWG's Mayhem:Under Construction (TLX) and there used to be a warehouse set before TLX. You need big pipes to have snipers crawl through.

I was going to say Pipeline, you might try Derelict from Ebbles. Raised walkways in there too.

As I am not really a figure artist I am forwarding this request to the body of artists that frequent these Cardboard Warriors forums in the hope that someone may assist this gentleman and his family. Squirmy Dad,
I was looking at your models and absolutely love the paper 2.5D Red Dragon that One-Monk created. I have a son whom I named Griffin since he was born sick and needed to be flown to an intensive care unit. Since he flew with the eagles and needed the strength & courage to survive he was named Griffin.
I would love to have a Griffin models in the same format as the dragon. Can I have One-Monks email address or do you know of anyone that would create the format. I was so impressed by the models. You and others have quite a gift.
Matt Mims mmimsne@gmail.comI believe the Dragon he was referring to is the one found here; www.mmiparchive.papermakeit.com/26-2.5D%20Monsters.htmlThanks all.

I was just thinking about you today, glad you're still alive and well-ish. I was reviewing your progress pics for your mecha and they've been very inspirational for my current project. Hope to see your creativity at work here again in the future.

Thanks, this is close to how I start up my processes. I like the noise and blur overlay layer, I threw that into the mix on my current wip and the textures "popped" nicely.

I like to use this figure as my go-to guy for scaling questions; He's from the first Terra Force set and I've always thought his proportions and scaling were spot-on for gaming miniatures.

I really like the work on the Prodigy figure. Her texturing is my stand-out favorite in that lineup.

I decided this model needed a little upgrade; Some new raised deck add-ons and a new cabin. Should be up tomorrow as a free add-on.

No, but good idea! Thanks. edit-> Thanks to Skrapwelder at TMP I'm able to call off the search. Turns out he's a Copplestone "Darkest Africa" German Officer. I think he'll be commanding a landship soon.

What's this mini? Little help please, I purchased this fellow probably six years ago and I don't remember what line he's from. I don't generally purchase from a lot of different manufacturers and I've already skimmed through the online catalogs for Brigade models and Foundry, no luck. I'd like to purchase more from this line, whatever it is, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah, I was pretty happy to find those again, their initial loss was quite depressing. I'm sketching a tank hunter variant with missile and BFG options for the medium chassis size. I'm hoping to start releasing them this summer.

Things I love; -Crowded city streets with buildings looming on every side. -In that shot from the airships view the city walls look like painted resin or plaster, instead of paper. Great work!

I also found my works files for the Spaceballs Eagle V mod so I'm working on that again. It was kind of funny to look at an old project like this and remember how long it took to make something so simple, and how much back and forth fudging and mistakes I made just in the 3d model. I rebuilt the 3d version in just a few minutes to serve as the basis of the Eagle V mod, some things are so simple now. So all of the video work is complete; seven shows, over a hundred hours of editing. All the sick employees are back at work and I'm not jumping back and forth across town trying to work on two shows at once ("Zombie Prom:The Musical" and, "The Dining Room") and my wife's car is up and running. So it's an all-around "yay!" Also while I was moving files around and making room for the video data while I was working on them I plugged in an old backup hard-drive and found some gems that I thought I'd lost when my main back-up h-d bought the farm two years ago; Found a big pile of airship files including the incomplete Wotan. I thought all of my hovercraft work was gone forever, I have to start over on the texture work, but all of the 3d, basic layouts, and gsd files were there. I'm glad I wrote lots of notes when I was working on them the first time. And something else I'm working on to coincide with the eventual release of my Tsarist Cogs; But first I have to get the Urutu APC uploaded and move a diesel train into the aether. I'm a little fatigued from the past month's activities, but I'm feeling good.

First off, for those who have been trying to contact me about various things, I apologize for my silence and my absence. After a papermodel hiatus of some weeks due to a slew of video projects I'm finally back to creating new content. So the firsst thing I did was to revise some old content, specifically the "Apocalypse RV" or "Wasteland Winnebago". I released this as a freebie five years ago and in all that time no one noticed that there were no headlights, until last month. So that's been fixed and a few other things tidied up and improved. Go get it now and start running away from zombies and giant bugs in style. www.mayheminpaper.papermakeit.com/Squirmydad%27s_Madness/Welcome.html

Can you affect the opacity or blending mode of the flames? I so, you could dial it down so the hand shows through. Otherwise, yeah, what Cowboy said. The title of this thread makes me wonder if the competition will be judged by celebrity deities.

I still don't like how the barrel goes together, too fiddly and prone to twist-warp. I think I'm going to try a long hexagonal taper shape. Got the layout down to four pages, which is perfect for the 15mm scale model version as it'll all be on one page. Tires and axles page is done; I love the look of multi-wheeled vehicles, but I always forget how tedious it is to build all those tires.

The clever ones find a way to make their hobbies profitable, so that they never need to work again. (Of course, I know a lot of people who've tried this, and know almost none that have succeeded) Theatre was my hobby that I quit my regular job to pursue, that was 17 years ago... ;D I don't see myself dumping my theatre work to become a full-time model-crafter though, I'd have to fall off of a ladder something. I found that papercraft was a hobby that complemented my theatre jobs and very often I find myself waiting on clients and I can use that wait time as model build time. Or kick the paper APC around the booth time. ;D
