Some modelers don't "finish the box" - leaving "bottoms" off their boxy paper models, such as bookshelves. This makes them weak and likely to collapse when stored, and also don't allow for any means to "attach" them to a floor/map (using, say repositionable adhesive dots.) There's one set that I truly love (that has this flaw) from long time modeler and contributor to Cardboard Warriors: eddnicminipapermodels.blogspot.com/2012/06/hero-quest-style-furniture-for-your.html I use his bookshelves (and other pieces) over, and over again... Sure enough, they are too flimsy for storage and reuse, but I'm too busy to rebuild them (and have the same thing happen...) so I came up with a super easy means to repair/improve the already build pieces. Just cut out some thick black cardstock (white will work), score/emboss appropriately, and insert. Glue if you want (I did.) This adds weight, removes wrinkles, and provides a surface to attach to the floor, if so desired. I know its TOO easy, but I drug my feet for 8 years...

There is another thing to try, but probably not worth the fuss: Making an embossing carrier sheet. The curio has a special soft-foam covered carrier sheet for embossing (which I don't use often, except for "real" embossing of foil and such.) If you lived in near Oakland I'd happily lend you mine...
Anyway getting or making one of those might help. But you DON'T want to cut with a blade on it - it will shred. I know, kinda defeats the two-heads-in-one-load effect.
Honestly, where I am now, myself - If mine didn't work, I'd just hand "emboss/score" before loading the sheet for cutting.

My Curio has a hard-plastic carrier sheet, so I can tell my cutter to press unreasonably hard...

I so want to build some of your stuff retextured for Mezoberanzan (Drow Capital City) Do you have some pix of sample textures? This is a good time to do some small projects. My plan was to make a bespoke build using the Dark Elves textures from various Lord Sze Sze sets, including the partially failed kickstarter. They also had a dark elves texture set for the Elven Mill. Since I own a copy of them (purchased) I can freely re-purpose them for my own private use - but I'd never share those with others without permission. I'm betting that you could just ask them for permission (with attribution) and you might be able to use some of those, if you are so inclined. Antal has moved on from papercraft to 3D printing (now Black Scroll Games)... Best of luck, no matter what you decide!

Did you see my 180 degree turn version (second link above)? Would that help? Also - a simple wall-box next to that lower flight could serve as a platform for the separate reverse flight.
I'm sorry if your description isn't clicking in my brain. I'm one of those folks who has problems "seeing" from just descriptions.

Hmm. Chronologically I'm missing a post or two (Thanksgiving and Christmas got in the way, I guess.) So this happened two sessions after the previous one... Link

I'm long in TSLA stock. It's the only stock I personally purchase and track (I have others, but they aren't passion purchases - nor do I "day trade" or any of that.)
I'm invested in how Elon/TSLA have changed the conversation. And I'm very happy with my stock performance. :-)

I backed the first kickstarter. I never built the terrain because of the color scheme/art.
This looks much better. I'll check it out. Thank you!

If you don't want the monthly-obligation feel of Patreon, don't offer it. Do "per project". Honestly, for people working on complicated things, I prefer that as a backer...
I'm in it to support folks. Period. I don't download 90% of the stuff I get notified is ready...

The commitment part is why I don't think I would be a good candidate to do a Patreon. That and my interests change so frequently. No one would know month to month what to expect on any given month. And that actually works for some of the artists, but I fear that it probably wouldn't work for me. That, and if this became a job with commitments and the stress associated with that, I think my creativity and enjoyment would suffer. So, I am afraid that you all are stuck with me posting things here for free. Sorry Hmm. Your output is second to none - so I'm wondering what you think is a mismatch. If you said "per project" you could take as long as you need, and we'd all be impressed at your output rate. *You don't have to do "monthly"*.

I agree that a patron/creator relationship is about properly setting expectations. I'd also seriously consider setting it up to charge by the project or piece, rather than by the month, just to be sure I didn't short-change my supporters in a month where real life cut my productivity seriously There is at least one Creator I dropped because they didn't produce regular-ish output (I don't think monthly *always* makes the most sense, especially for large projects.) That was Dave's. He would go for months and months with no communication and no output. If he'd switched to per-project/item early enough, I would have stayed with him while he worked out what he really wanted to to do. Creators need to commit to a relationship with their patrons, and stay in contact with them especially if they are facing challenges. But - for me - the calendar isn't the moderator in our relationship, it's the commitment of both parties - reflected by communication and content.

I back patreon creators I want to encourage to do more work - even if I don't use most of it. I don't see it as an alternative to a store at all.
That said, I still have personal criteria for selecting those I patron.

Game resumed - though they are playing through "The Tyranny of Dragons" - I'm running them through an abbreviated "Waterdeep - Dragon Heist" as part of the story... It's a good chance to use my new Honorable Knight Walking Statue. And experiement with using Terraclips to build the Yawning Portal...

Eh. I don't think the titles matter at all. You could literally label them "Rank 1, Rank 2..." and get the "clarity" attribute.
You could name them all "contributor" - and that'd be fine too.
To me, what matters is how the titles reflect on the community (if we even want that.)
So - I'll submit those lists:
Guest, Contributor, Contributor, Contributor, Contributor, Contributor, Contributor, Contributor, Contributor, Contributor, Contributor
and
Guest, Contributor 1, Contributor 2, Contributor 3, Contributor 4, Contributor 5, Contributor 6, Contributor 7, Contributor 8, Contributor 9, Contributor 10
