I also have a son with Aspergers, playing D&D has helped him adjust to the social conventions that most people take for granted, and now he even has his own D&S group. Its great to hear similar stories from others. My adult daughter who now lives with me has Aspergers. Aspergers children are beautiful and precious and I love my daughter very much and I'm proud of her for what she has achieved. I played tabletop fantasy wargaming and dungeon crawling with my children as they were growing up and it was such great quality time for us. Congratulations Anne on this wonderful milestone, it will be something that the both of you will remember for the rest of your lives.

Good point on the white edges. I just realized I forgot to mention that I plan on getting these printed on either clear or black stock for production. Both of which will give better looking edges. These prototypes are obviously printed on white stock which makes the edges stand out. That's good to know because the white edges would have been a real game breaker for me.

The white edges on the minis are a point of concern for me as I think it detracts from the minis appearance. I also think that $50.00 is steep for an introductory pledge level and I agree with squirmydad that it would be better if some lower level pledges were offered.

An interesting variation on the princess theme, - I like it. If all the princess variations were available in a layered PDF they would be very useful as a means to create a unique character for RPGs.

Cool, - I must get my Lego minifigs armies out of their boxes and give these rules a test

I like both version V and VI, but as you say version V looks more like a monk warioressa than a princess. I think version V would still make a great RPG character though.

Not since Games Workshop's Warhamster have I tried anything in 10mm scale, but these minis look good and are quite characterful for all their tiny size.

This is a stunning terrain system, but because I'm a Kiwi girl any thought of joining the kickstarter with my pocket money clenched tightly in my fist is completely out of the question. Exchange rate + shipping = shock horror time.

Now that is a very nice house. Congratulation on finding your new home, - moving house is awful having done it twice now I've vowed to never do it again.

Bareheaded with long hair is a nice option to have, but I don't agree with the bare legs. This princess seems to me to be more of an elegant warrior where as Xena is very much a 'punch their lights out with whatever comes to hand' type of warrior princess.

Masks have their places for some situations. An intrepid princess might be out on a quest that her family might not approve of so a mask could be very appropriate.

These are really amazing models. I'm trying very hard to ignore them at the moment because I've got a hard drive full of PDFs I haven't even done anything with yet.

Yes I agree, I like this warrior princess very much Chainmail bikinis annoy me a lot (Grrrr..) Something I've wanted for a long time is a unit of women warriors based on this picture of Achaemenid Persian Female Warriors.

On a side note, had a first game of BrikWars this week-end. Although not paper related, we had a great time. 2 adults and a 10 year old boy, we really laughed hard. Simple 3-way capture the flag (well, the Olympic flame in this case to be thematic). Too bad I didn't take pictures, but my team base had a mounted defensive flamethrower that needed a mini to bend over in order to activate. Subtle, really, but effective I used to play Brikwars, - it was a lot of fun. Of course there is nothing stopping anyone from playing any game ruleset with minifigs and I've used them for HotT as well as other fantasy rulesets too. Mantic's Kings of War could be worthwhile checking out as it can be played with more than two players and the rules are free to download on Mantic's website.

She looks great! Proportionally and pose-wise, and well-equipped; wildagreenbough has already said everything else succinctly. As my favourite class to play is rogue, and my favourite combat style is dual wielding daggers, I'm sure I'll be using her sometime soon Should you care to create a half-sized sister for her, I would use her as my 5th Edition Starter Box PC, Kyrie Applebottom, halfling rogue. Currently I'm either borrowing a halfling mini from my DM, or using my own prepainted Pathfinder mini of Lem the halfling bard. There's a dire shortage of half-pint paper minis... An alternate suggestion would be something resembling the thief character from Sierra's Quest for Glory series. I've been playing one version or another of mine, named Montresor, in every RPG I've played in, CRPG, MMORPG, or tabletop questforglory.wikia.com/wiki/Thief?file=ThiefHQManual.png or better yet a google image search for "Quest for Glory thief" Lots of Halfling can be found here: - Pathfinder Halflings

That's a cool looking truck, I can see a use for one of those in quite a few scenarios. Archaeologists vs Dinosaurs anyone?
Edit: Anyone want to do some re-colours of this truck? Grubby dusty tan would be a good alternative
