I'm not sure if Billiam Babble has a specific solution, but as far as I could tell you could still use paperclips even without the door sections. Since all of the rooms are walled in you have to overlap the corridor to cover the wall to make the doorway, it would leave enough room to slide a paper clip and hold it together. For the corridors you could just have a one square overlap to give yourself enough room to clip them together.

I picked up the round room section (thanks for the awesome free add on). It looks great I can't wait to get some in print and on my table.
Though my players' adventures are keeping them above ground for the moment, rest assured there will be at least on large round room the next time they head underground.
BTW if you want to use any of these photos go ahead, it's all your artwork anyway.

These miniatures look great. I'm not sure if I find the idea of bears vs. frogs vs. turtles fascinating or absurd, I may have to check out song of fur and buttons so I can decide Also I second pink frogs... It would be awesome for your opponent to have to admit that they were defeated by the army of pink frogs.

If you don't mind coughing up a few bucks Darkmook has some modern horror mini sets here www.rpgnow.com/index.php?manufacturers_id=2931 some of the sets are even free. I like where you are going with these zombies, they look suitably shambling and decrepit to give of the undead vibe.

Thanks everyone.
I was pretty determined to get this set done all at once so they would look enough alike to be considered the same group, and I think it worked out well.
I hope to get the opposing faction and the rules together for play testing soon and hopefully a release at the first of the year, we'll see though, school just picked back up after the summer and work has been a bear lately. My biggest obstacle is finding time to work on these (probably like most people here).
Anyway, thanks again for checking them out.

Thanks for the file. It is pretty easy to see how it works with the example. Also I can add a new technique to my toolbox for future minis.

Here are a few pictures of the complete faction all built. Thanks to everyone that helped out with feedback and advice, I've certainly improved my process (and hopefully my minis) since my first one. Also for anyone who want here is a zip file of all of the minis (there is nothing new in the file if you have picked up all these minis from the threads in this area, but if you want them all in one place). It's like 3.4 megs. broken

I just picked this up today and I must say I'm very pleased.
It might take me a little while to get a build in (my plate is pretty full right now) but I am certainly looking forward to it.

I like the new face. It inspires a more gritty non traditional satyr. I hope you keep that style going for your satyr figures.

@ Sirrob01:
I'd really appreciate a .xcf copy. It's really cool how subtle the difference is but how much crisper it looks. I'd like to check out the layers so I can repeat it.
Thanks for the comments everyone!

Yeah, I think the foot is a little to small and the look is amplified by the fact that it doesn't sit right on the line. It's not so noticeable when it is built though.
I told myself I was going to just keep plugging through all of the minis I wanted to do for 2 factions and not backtrack, so when i learn a new lesson/technique on mini #10 I wouldn't have 9 minis to redo to make them look as good.
I'll post some pics of all the minis in the next day or so when I have them all built, it should make for a impressive little force.
What do you suggest to separate the mini parts more? Stronger outline or more contrasting colors? These first minis i have been struggling with the colors, trying to get enough contrast but keeping the earthy tones (since they are all woodland folk).

Here is the last mini for this faction, a set of archers, limited pose and color variation but there are 5 in the PDF. Now I'm going to finish all the builds... and the PDF broken

Thanks guys.
I think I will do a recolor of one of these in the near future to give a more fleshlike tone. This mini could easily be an adventurer.

I'd like to put something together for this hoard as well, I'm leaning towards some kind of creepy thin sack faced scarecrow (with a side of crows). But we'll see what comes out when I get to the drawing table.

I had similar problems when I was making my first few minis.
I found that working on the mini in Gimp when it was larger then I wanted, then using the re-size to scale down, worked well. Gimp has a re-size by percent ability, so after my first print I could use a ruler and do some math to find the percent I needed to re-size by to get the perfect size.
Once I printed on the perfect size I used Primo PDF (free PDF software that installs like a printer) to print the mini into a PDF, which (in theory) solves future sizing problems.
It seemed like a ton of work when I first did it, but after a few times going through the process, it is pretty quick now and usually only one off sized printout.
I should also mention that i haven't been designing for very long and there are sure to be people here that have more experience.

Thanks for the room update! As far as fiddly stairs on a round tower go. I'd be happy with a 4 inch curved tile that just shows the landing. But I suppose I may be putting your tile to the test as far as floorplans go, I'm not really diving into the features. It was actually good timing for me when you released this set. I've got a few dungeon tile sets and I was gearing up to do a big print run to make a modular set for all my dungeon planning. Glad I din't do it 2 weeks ago, because I love this set. I have a whole 3D dungeon set I made from hirst blocks along with tons of furnishings, but I have been wanting a 2D set for my glass table. The 3D requires most of the table (instead of just the area the players are currently using, plus it obscures view and you can't draw all over it with dry erase markers. Now I just pull it out for special occasions (like this one if anyone is interested...) i47.photobucket.com/albums/f182/sammo420/lich.jpgAnyway keep up the good work. Now I just need to decide how much oxygen my players have trapped behind the wall with them and if they will notice when it starts to run low.... ;D

Is it safe to assume there will be some kind of compatibility with your raise platform set?

This is an interesting idea. I've toyed with the idea of laminating minis, but I don't have a cutter and I wonder how hard it would be to cut them by hand.

The units added to the game in sets of 3,5, or 7 have a little bit of variation in poses. The ones that are used individually, but you can add more than one have an alternate color scheme.
The unique "hero" miniatures (like this one) have only a single pose/color scheme.
I'd like to do more with variation of miniatures, but right now I am trying to get all of the units done for two factions.

This floor plan worked out well for the dungeon crawl. My players are currently hiding behind a wall of iron trying to rest for H.P's and spells before heading down the stairs on our next game night.
I've made another few pieces and will lay out level 2 soon. I'll try and remember to take some pictures to share when I get it laid out.
an additional request for future sets would be:
More round tiles (maybe a six and eight inch round) and a quarter round that could be combined (four times) to make a large round room (12 inches or so) for like a wizards tower.
Just suggestions.
