@vermin King no im not familiar with his work, drop me a link so I can have a look? hmm.. Ive not really considered diorama's but it might actually make sense... the diorama's could potentially slot into each other creating a board game... almost like a final boss battle room... stevelortz thank you so much :-) BTW the cover art is the miniatures just not scaled down to 30mm, with just a bit of shadow added... nikloveland ;D Im going to do my best to keep adding... i have a number of models and figures in various states of completeness.. bookman60 Brilliant thanks for you custom ;D bowler hats? hmmm have you been looking over my shoulders? but you havent seen the conceptual steam punk ninja's.. ah oops.. should not have said that Can I ask a huge favor? would you guys mind giving them a brief review on either RPGnow or Wargamevault? it would mean a lot and ill pull the feed into my website. oh an by the way i have added some bases as well bit.ly/yuR8I1

;D Thanks guys for all the good comments! This is my first real figure set and I still have A LOT to learn. stevelortz thank you so much, I will definitely take that as a compliment. I'm still "finding my voice" so I should improve in time. As to the bases, yes they will probably be available within the next two days, they are mostly specific to GODS of STEAM so it will be the wooden decking, copper flooring and steel textures of the upcoming crawlers. @vermin King Once again thanks for your support and encouragement over the last few months, its greatly appreciated. Keep an eye on your email. old squirmydad ha... he's not actually the commander but a rogue like character (think steam punk han solo) that is mostly trust worthy and more often than not finds himself on the side of "the Son's of Holmes"... but mostly because he has a crush on Rose (Holmes' grand daughter) I'm still debating on how to actually release these hero class figures and what to include, they each have a very unique back story and "accessories". At the moment there is 4 hero class characters... okumarts no bigger compliment can be given than one of the greats having to "Scoop them up" ;-)

Excerpt taken from a letter by Holmes to his grand daughter Rose. "I stood and watched as my beloved London burned. Burned by a vindictive madman, a man my equal. As the houses of parliament finally shuddered and collapsed in on itself, I could not help but wonder if I was to blame. Did my pride, my stubbornness led the world to the brink of destruction in a war of steam and ash. A war of men and machine of gears hungry for blood and death. Had I but stayed and faced my nemesis, might I have saved the world from the tears and screams of war . Had I but stood up and faced him in those last hours instead of disappearing into the dark. I now see the grave error I made. an error that cost thousands their lives and engulfed a continent in war. The war is now bigger than me or "him". The war is now a beast of its own success, feeding feeding on the weak, feeding on their iron and blood. The man is now a leader, an emperor… he is now... one of the GODS of STEAM… and I must stop this madness."
Finally its up for sale... the first set in hopefully many more in my new "the GODS of STEAM" steampunk series... Now available on RPGnow and WargameVault RPGNow.com bit.ly/y8ZCVQWargame Vault bit.ly/yVqF9m

I ran a site since 2004 that didnt really have much on it but a few free downloads of some of the paper models I did over the years...
after a number of major headaches from domain name disputes to multiple hacking and DNS issues... I have decided to call it a day and let the sun set on miniature-games.com...
However.. new domain names have been purchased and im working on an updated site that will still have all the past models as free downloads, the site will also focus on a new range of figures, models and scenery I am working on... of which the first has gone on sale on wargame vault and RPGnow...
Thanks so much for everyone who has supported me with miniature-games and its trying times... the new site will be ready soon...

HAHA-... Paladin... you hit the nail right on the head... this was my way of flogging the dead horse in a new and humorous fashion. I realllyyy do not mind this being on my thread at all, it is the whole reason i posted it here after all it took all of 5 min to create and colour her. I really enjoy seeing everyones point of views and makes for fascinating reading... all i can say is.... Freud would have had a field day hehe.... We can also start a "correct usage of gramar and punctuation" thread... its the only other subject i have seen to create as much controversy in forums as nipples on paper figures...

thanks DC... we played the Caverns of Nathuz last night, now bear in mind I was playing with my 4 and a half year old.
You right, the rules are a lot dumbed down but if you read the rules it does state that you should create your own when you are ready for it.
For a four year old the rules were prefect, it just about maxed out the level of his understanding. We had a thief, barbarian and mage.
The wife and I were trying to play a more tactical game while the kid just went for the potions and gold, at one stage we had to stop because he swallowed the "cap" of the speed potion bottle, we replaced it with a piece from his other lego's as we not going to wait for it to come out.
Anyway, we played the suggested rules and the little tyke won without loosing any health he ended up with 9 gold and myself and the wife with 6 each.
He was a bit bored with the game as there was no sense of real danger / urgency. With the ninjago one, the general moves down the stairs each time you loose a fight or the dice falls on the general. So it creates more tention.
So in the second game, I changed the rules and actually took on the role of the Golem Lord. I rolled the dice twice with each round, once to determine how many of my minions I can move and then again for how many moves.
Each time they killed a minion, I was able to bring it back to life with the Scepter of summoning, if the dice landed on the shield (perform a special action or move 4).
I chased them around the Caverns and we ended up facing off on the "bridge" the kid finally nailed me with a fireball.
The same rules in regards to potions and health applied to me but not my minions.
I think if you expand it yourself, add some cards, add more combat rules and the like, it can actually be a pretty decent "pick up and go" game.
At the moment its perfect for kids.

Has anyone played any of the Lego RPG's? I bought my son the Lego Ninjago and he LOVED it... Tonight I'm going to try to introduce him to something a bit more complicated heroica.lego.com/en-us/Products/Default.aspx#3859have a look at the rules, pretty simple yet perfect quick game and introduction to RPG... Very good "gateway drug" to paper RPG's me think... BTW he is 4 1/5

Bloody hell... im offline for one day in Germany and a war has broken out on this thread lol...
There is a lot of good points here, and yes I created Miss Mam as a satyrical way to address the censorship debate. This has been done many times by many artist over the last few thousand years.
Personally I am against any form of censorship because I use my common sense to decide what I want and dont want to see. If I dont like something I just skip over it or just dont put myself in a situation where I will be exposed to it again.
What really annoys me more than anything is that if I do want to see something I am told I am not allowed to because someone, somewhere decided I am not allowed to.
Problem with censorship is where to stop? shall we now remove all high healed boots and shoes from our models? after all the only reasons high heals were invented was to tighten the buttocks and pelvic muscles to apear more fertile.
Shall we remove lipstick? It was originally used to mimic the appearance of an excited female sexual organs?
What about corsets? pushup bras? false eye lashes? etc... The only way will be to have androgynous cyborgs with no other motive but to kill.
.... and then we enter into the kill, murder, war debate...
so we end up with androgynous cyborgs sitting still with no motives at all....
and then we enter the purity of the human race debate....
so we end up with androgynous robots sitting still with no motives....
....... ....... ......
what saddens me is that you guys actually deleted your posts, everything else now has no context and just looks like the ramblings of fanatics or mad men....

The AT-PC is the base for a set of "mod friendly" models im working on for my steam punk saga. The pictures is showing it as a Personal Transport but a gun mount, missile mount and "ball bearing" (still need to think of a better name) attachment can be added. With the ball bearing attachement you can string up a pair of legs and mod them onto buildings, boats, tanks etc instantly making them movable. Attachments:

Thanks guys, good conversation and views.
What I'm wanting is to create a game set that can be played by people who either like the Dungeon / location based type games or the open battlefield wargame.
and if you really want you can combine the two for more rounded experience.
So imagine I bring out a new model of lets say an uber tank and the only way to be allowed to use the tank on the open battlefield is to infiltrate and steal it.
So player one has to protect the base and player two has to break in. You can also have 3 or even 4 players.
The player that is defeated (2 players) or the player that reaches it first (3-4 players) gets to use it in their army.
There will definably be separate rules for the two different types of games. Where the overlap is that you can go in with just a squad of low value troopers or have a few hero's / named do the mission. If your hero's are killed, they canot be used on the battlefield.

I'm not to familiar with all the types of games out there.
Is there a type that has both internal / small campaigns such as dungeons and tombs but also big armies and open battle field type of games?
for example, lets say there is a unit that is only available to the army that is able to break into a high security building and steal the plans. The "top secret" unit can then be used by people who either stole the plans or were able to protect the plans?
Is this something you guys would be interested in?

Well it will definitely help to show interest and support, its never easy to develop models and figures and not really knowing if its needed or even wanted.
Unfortunately i cant use that Kick-starter site as I'm not american, so will need to find other ways to do it.
