Thanks. I'm doing a bit of a rush job on them, so the detailing on them is not as precis as the first one. But that first one was over detailed. When they are printed out on paper at a much small size you wont see any real difference. I still need to do the nuke launcher and then I can add the different legs. Each mini will get a reverse image of it with a different set of legs. So that's 10 troops with one commander.

Oh I see. I'm thinking of Google Sketchup as I tried it one a while ago and it was easy to use and has an unwrap plug in for it, I think it's 3rd party.
Just played with DAZ for a while. It's a nice little program. Could get expensive with all the add on products. I can see the usefulness of it.

All this neat stuff, makes my piles of junk look like...piles of junk. There is hidden genius in this.

I'll take a look at that DAZ Studio Glenn. Does it have an unfolding tool or is it for post editing the finished model?

Early WIP of new ABC Warrior. I hope to have two more with ridiculously big guns and one with a mini nuke launcher.

Nice looking. With the cape it reminds me of the creature from Mimic a little bit.

Well I think I can have the first pdf ready by later tonight or tomorrow. I do have a few things to get done this weekend though. The triangle idea is a good simple way to solve that problem. I'll have to keep that in mind for future projects. I did do something a bit similar with my Moon Hopper's spine. A small triangle tube is surprisingly strong. On this type of building it wouldn't be practical, as I would have to make each unit about 10% smaller or more than the last to nest inside each other. Right now there is a 2% difference and they still look OK next to each other. The smallest is about 12% smaller than the largest.
