I'll have to take a look at that software down loader.

nice site. The wait for down loads is a pain, but a lot of nice stuff.

I have the basic pdf available for down load, but there was some lose in quality because of compression. If you want full quality, the png files are also available too. The extra modules will come later. Down Load Here:tommygun.sector-17.com/tommygun/main.php?g2_page=2

But there's more! I would make it clear that when you buy this model, you can get a bonus free PDF download of the model, including multi-layered versions. All I need to do is print the link on one of the pages deeper in the stack, so it's not visible from the outside. Is there a way to do this where the person has to register on the site and get a unique password code for the down load? This way if you get 100 downloads on the unique password you can disable that password.

Looks good. I'm thinking of making a small boat when I get my SciFi items all done. My biggest fear is getting the wood grain right.

I wanted to add these photos for clarity in the building process. I hope to have pictures of the completed model later tonight or tomorrow.

Here is the military version. I'm not too sure of my ability to make convincing scratches yet, so I'm not doing any. I do have a very light mottled texture to my model, so it does not look too clean. I'm designing the nuclear waist carrier next.

What you could do is make a white paper test model. Just cut a piece of paper out and tape it together in the shape you want. Once you have something you like, remove the tape and use a flat bed scanner to put it into your computer and you can texture the image. If you don't have a scanner, then unfold it and use a ruler and protractor to make measurements of it.

Do you think you would be happy with canyon walls with flat plateaus on top. You could do something similar to Wold Works Mars terrain, just with different earth colors.

I was wondering about what a whole ship would look like after seeing the wrecked ship pdf. I imaging you could do a double decker cargo version too.

Thanks guys. I wanted to show proof that I am still working on it. Here is one of about seven or so pods that you can add to the Falcon moon Hopper. Some of these pods are made to be attached to each other to form a mini base. Some will have digital Moon camo.

I picked mine up today! Nice model! *EDIT* Ugh, I built it poorly, it is slightly bowed so the model does not sit flat. Yeah, I've repeatedly had the same problem. Does anyone have any advice about this? Are you printing on 110Lb paper (about 200gsm)? Also chipboard is useful for gluing to the bottoms and the inside of models.

I can across this freeware map tile editor. It is designed for computer games, but if you can find a way to print the maps at the right scale it may prove useful. www.mapeditor.org/

Take a look at SkeletonKey Games at RPGnow.com, they may have some things you can use. Also look at these two sets. They are for sewers, but they might work for canals?

I misunderstood as well. I would suggest keeping it more simple. First you don't need a shrink wrap machine. I have seen bagged items in those large seal-able type sandwich bags. But they are not the ones from the grocery store, they are for commercial use. They just print a label and fold it in half, then slide it over the top of the bag and staple it.
Just put one building in it on 110lb paper, no chipboard (No DVD ether) and sell it for about $6.90 to the retail store with a ten order minimum. I assume it would be cheaper to have a local copy place do the printing in bulk for you?

Small market stalls: Fruit and vegetable stand. Fish vendor. Bread stall. Clothing, rugs, small weapons stand etc...
Each merchant stall would be on three pages. Maybe a three sided tent open on one side or something like a lean to tent. The tent would probably take up the first two pages because you have to show the interior. But the tent can be reskined for different looks. The third page would have the merchant's sell items in it.
Also an open air blacksmith shop with just a roof. The forge and anvil in the middle and a few tools hanging from the rafters.

I magnetized the mast and front sail join to the bow so I can lift it of for storage. Nice little boat I'm looking forward to the next one . That's a good idea. I was waffling on buying it, as I was not sure how to store it. I already have a mod for it. A chase gun on the front and four swivel guns on the sides! Throw in a Jolly Rogers on top and Captain jack at the wheel.

Have you looked at paper clock designs to get any ideas? I think there may even be a few free designs floating around the internet.
