Really nice work! Mel's Luna schemes have me modding a lot too.

Really clever and beautiful. Sure the tiny parts are too fiddly for my fat fingers. The model is 40cm long, so the parts are fairly big. I think the smallest part on the landing gear is 25mm by 25mm.

Man! Thanks a lot, they are awesome!!! The only thing i can't get is if they are for 15 or 28mm miniature scale. It's all 28mm scale, but I guess you could print it at 50% to get 15mm scale.

Well thankfully the landing gear came out correctly and I was able to separate the middle section. I added doors to the connecting areas, glued the spine on and added magnets to the inside of model. I need to finish assembling the model now, then design three more middle sections. PS: I have a name for the Moon Hopper. Falcon, which goes in line with the Eagle and Hawk.

I just wanted to let people know, that I have a collection of free terrain, furniture and boxes here for down load. It's a random collection of items I have designed over the last year. I just wanted to share it with the gaming community. -Tom. tommygun.sector-17.com/tommygun/main.php

I love the shading and the detail on these guys. The armor looks fantastic.

I'm not sure. It depends on how the landing gear comes out and a few other things. I also want to design a few different mid sections to swap out. I Think I'll need to do a photographic building guide for the landing gear too.

Alright here is the spine I came up with. I don't think it changes the look that much. It is just two triangles formed from a single piece of paper. I need to do a little surgery and cut out the mid section, so it can be held in place with magnets and switched out with different modules. The modules I have in mind are a wider transport version, shipping cargo box, and nuclear waste transport. I did a little engine work too.

Pick these up the other day. I'm trying to mix them in with the SciFi cargo. I thinking tea and tobacco will work, but hemp will take on a whole new meaning on a SciFi cargo ship.

I'm wondering if it would be possible to build a log cabin or block house out of those logs? You could make a log raft, ferryboat, floating bridge or a pier out of them too. Too many ideas and not enough time.

Update on what I have done. The windows where changed to the ones above and I have started to build. I was also able to design and build some of the engines. I'm happy with how it came out, but I did go back and add a little detail to the main engine. I have decided to add a small spine to the top of the vehicle. The purpose of the spine is to make the craft will look more modular. I want to design two or more mid sections that can be swapped out. The challenge for the spine is that it has to be small, but still able to support the vehicle. I'm thinking of using two or three triangular tubes that may get covered for more strength. After that will be the landing gear.

Nicely done. The second one reminds me a bit of a Nosferatu type vampire.

Corn Stalk Bundles are available here at the One Monk site in some Halloween Harvest Props release from a year or two back. It also comes with wheat sheaves, wheat in the field, corn in the field, and pumpkin patches and a spooky-looking tree. Dryw the Harper I think those links are broken and they are 2D.

The biggest issue I'm having currently is scaling the images. They're HUGE! Go take a look, feel free to re-scale them... I'd love for someone to show me what I'm doing wrong. I'm sure its something simple. I'm learning myself, but is your image size set to 8.5 x 11 inches? You may also need to set scaling on for your printer. The margin settings can also cause problems.

OK, here is a basic drawing. The landing gear will have more to it when done. The front will be all glass with a frame and more windows on the body around the roof and floor areas. The main body is the middle area (6 inches long) and two 2 inch sections on ether side where the landing gear attaches. The nose and rear will also be separate pieces. The five motors will be three pieces each. Finally, the landing gear will be the hardest to design out, but I think I have something that will work.

I'll play around with a few more test windows tonight. It has to be some variation of black (without a blue sky to reflect). I'll also try and get a simple line drawing of the vehicle up too.

It is showing a lot of improvement. Now that you have rework a big portion of it, the stonework in the road seems a little flat compare to all the other things going on. Very nice work though.

Here is the start of my first 3D vehicle. This is the main hull. The overall appearance will be similar to the Eagles from Space 1999. My Moon Hopper, I think will look like an early version of a vehicle that became the Eagle. This is what I have done so far. I'm not sure about the glass though? Well I have it installed now, but it seems to only work on lettering and the perimeter of the image (That is, the whole page). It ignores the select area box tool. I'm I doing something wrong?

Hello, Is there a way to make recessed panels in Gimp? There are several ways to make raised ones, but I'm having trouble making the recessed ones. I can draw them manually, but it is time consuming. Any Tips would be welcomed.
Thanks, Tom.
